Lease Maturity/Remarketing Analyst (Bilingual)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Effectively support the Lease Maturity and Remarketing operations at SCI Lease Corp; currently engaged in the leasing of Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, FIAT, RAM and Maserati vehicles.  Have the opportunity to jump into a fast paced and dynamic environment by becoming a critical team member in building and executing a lease maturity and remarketing strategy designed to support our end customer and dealer experience while maximizing residual values, and supporting in the design / maintenance of key business systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Contact Customer and Dealers (both English and French) to determine customer intent and vehicle return process
    • Support in the collection of documents/funds or further deficiencies required in processing the Lease Maturity sale to the end customer
    • Manage queues/phone calls required to collect and process Bills of Sales, Power of Attorneys, Lien Releases
    • Support in the collection of receivables as a result of excessive wear and tear parameters
    • Work towards maximizing residual values in the disposal of each Lease Maturity through various Remarketing Channels
    • Provide value added initiatives to all Upstream and Auction Channels (Lease Maturity Schedules, Pricing, Marketing, Processing of Sale/Transportation, Arbitration)

Accounting & Treasury Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

SCI Lease Corp is an independent, Canadian-based national automotive leasing company. Founded in 2015, the Company has experienced tremendous growth and is seeking an Accounting & Treasury Analyst to join our growing team!

As an integral part of the Finance Team, the Accounting & Treasury Analyst maintains cash-related General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, applies Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applies analytical work in reviewing the financial records. Reporting to the Controller, this position is primarily responsible for ensuring integrity of the Company’s bank and reserve accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assistance with Daily Funding – Validation of daily borrowings from bank and payments to Dealers, and preparation of deal origination reports
  • Preparation of journal entries for multiple daily cash transactions
  • Ensure cash transactions are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner
  • Preparation and recording of daily/monthly/quarterly bank transfers
  • Perform bank (and reserve account) reconciliations – both daily balancing and formal monthly reconciliations to the General Ledger
  • Monitor clearing and suspense accounts, ensure variances are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Respond to management inquiries
  • Ad-hoc analysis
  • Special projects as assigned

Funding Analyst (Bilingual)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Funding Analyst under the direction of the Leader, Origination (Credit & Leasing) is primarily responsible for auditing and processing lease agreements. This team member has contact with other company departments, as well as automobile dealers and other finance and credit sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Audit lease packages received to ensure all documentation requirements have been met according to policies and procedures, ensuring the financials are accurate on the lease and that the leases follow the program parameters
      • Liaise with Dealers and Sales in the follow up of required documentation and provide support to dealers for various lease inquiries including assisting with the structuring of deals
      • Process a lien registration on each lease received to secure the company’s interest in the vehicle and priority over other creditors
      • Authorize the payment to the Dealer on a file that has met all requirements
      • Process the booking file and enter any additional required information
      • May also be required to process or initiate any changes to the initial lease booked and lien registration during the term of the lease (examples are Lease Assignment/Amendment, Extensions, Name Change, Payment Due Date Changes, and Relocation to Another Province)
      • Provide support on the queue lines to handle inbound calls from Dealers
      • Miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned/required

Credit Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Credit Analyst under the direction of the Leader, Origination (Credit & Funding) is primarily responsible for researching and analyzing credit risks, assessing credit history and approving or denying extension of credit to potential customers. This team member has contact with other company departments, as well as automobile dealers and other finance and credit sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Analyze and evaluate credit applications under specific guidelines.
    • Communicate with dealers and internal departments regarding accounts pending credit approval.
    • Conduct reference investigations, document requirements and prepare credit presentations.
    • Work in a high volume call center environment requiring the use of multitasking skills.
    • Clarify inquiries regarding policies and procedures to peers and clients.
    • Promote and provide a high standard of service to the dealers and other areas within the company
    • Any and all other duties as may be required to meet Company objectives
    • Varying shift work ; these shifts may be further adjusted from time to time, by your Leader

Application Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Work inside the IT Operations department of SCI Lease Corp to maintain all software solutions / processes for day-to-day operations
  • Participate as an integral business knowledge representative in enhancement initiatives to deliver new (or improvements to) solutions that will suit the ever changing needs of the business

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in the capacity of a support staff to resolve production issues:
    • Support issue triaging by identifying the nature of the issue and distribute the issue to the appropriate party to work on (internal or external)
    • For issues to be addressed internally, work towards troubleshooting and / or resolving issues
    • Up keeping client side communications by providing status / progress updates
    • Issue resolution tracking and reporting for management
  • Provision system reference data on a regular basis (tax, vehicle descriptor, price matrixes, residuals, programs and rates)
  • Monitor system and data health; identify and report anomalies
  • Work in the capacity of a business analyst to deliver new / enhancements to software solutions
    • Business requirements gathering with stakeholders (internal / external)
    • Document change / enhancement scope (CR/BR/Story/SR/Data Mapping)
    • Liaise with build team during build cycle to clarify / elaborate requirements
